Cakes and Purls Bakery, Berkeley, CA

We had some really yummy, moist cake and cupcakes from Cakes and Purls Bakery in Berkeley, California.  This place is new, I discovered it today after I had lunch at Saturn Cafe up the street.
When  I was  a little girl growing up in Michigan, we used to go to this delicious bakery in Richmond, Michigan.  For years the bakery has been gone, but I am delighted to live in an area with so many delicious, independently owned bakeries!
