New Safeway in Rockridge

After years of debate, the builders have broken ground on the new Safeway.  Here's the view of the construction site from across the street at the fantastic Cole Coffee.

The pictures really don't do it justice.  In person, the bulldozer you see here is climbing a massive hill of soil.
