Berkeley Bowl is a great alternative to a higher priced health food store. The place is huge and they also have a cafe. Usually, I like to go by myself here since they have both health food plus the usual Safeway junk food fare, yet it is cheaper than Whole Foods. Don't get me wrong, I love Whole Foods too!
