Regular or Gluten free Tagliatelle Mushroom Bolognese
Ingredients:
-8 oz. mushrooms
-1 carrot, minced
-1/2 medium onion
-1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 tbs. extra virgin olive oil
- pinch of thyme ( we use from our garden)
- 18 oz. of crushed tomatoes
Instructions:
1. Add mushrooms, carrots, onion, and garlic to the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until coarsest chopped.
2. In large skillet, add oil, thyme, and vegetables. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
3 Add tomatoes and salt to taste. Cook uncovered, on medium heat, for 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
4. Cook gluten free or regular egg tagliatelle pasta according to directions.
5. Toss pasta with sauce and serve.
