The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado

On our recent visit to the Rocky Mountains National Park, we visited the nearby Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.  The hotel gives 90-minute guided tours roughly every half hour.  This is where Stephen King developed the outline for The Shining.
