The Cornish Christmas Festival in Grass Valley, California is tonight until 9pm. We are having a great time!
Lots of food, crafts, etc. Hot cider. Hot chocolate. Cornish pasties. Clam Chowder. Tons of other food. Police are patrolling on horseback. Lots of people; great way to get into the Christmas spirit.
One big highlight for us -- chestnuts roasting on an open fire in front of the Holbrooke
Hotel. Just like the song. And we have just learned that my son loves roasting chestnuts.
Another highlight -- a 10-year old student at Nevada City School of the Arts playing Christmas songs on the violin.
