This weekend is the Great Train Expo at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA- Nov. 21-22

This Weekend, Nov. 21-22nd 2015 is the Great Train Expo at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA.  I am so excited to take out my son's train set, as having a train set up around the holidays is one of our family traditions.

Bass Pro Shop in Rocklin, CA

Last weekend we visited the Bass Pro Shop off Highway 80 in Rocklin, California.  We see the shop all the time from the freeway but had never been inside.  It is like a Disneyland of outdoor sporting goods.  Amazing displays.  They are also generally pet-friendly.
