Should I keep the dog?

Has anyone ever adopted a dog from the SPCA and then wondered, "Should I keep this dog?"  I wonder with our busy lives if we are the best caretakers for this sweet dog who has so much love to give?  They gave us about a week and a half to think about it as we got the dog on St. Patrick's Day, so today is our deadline to decide whether to keep him.

Our dog is two years old and my son is already attached to him.  Since St. Patrick's Day, so much has changed.  That day that we walked by Zachary's pizza and saw him, it seemed like it would be so much easier.
